It could also be the positioning of your placenta?

I'm currently 17 weeks and was advised that I would feel my baby move at approx. 18-21 weeks. I always have upset stomachs so it's difficult to know if I have felt the butterfly/whooshing motion so far.

You may have an anterior placenta like me. I didn't feel movements until I was over 24 weeks.
