Pregnacare conception tablet , delayed period ?

Hey all ,

Did anyone had a problem of delayed periods after started having pregnacare ??? My period this month was 9 days late, no symptoms. , all negative test. I am reading so many news online that pregnacare tablet may delay the periods .

Pregnacare won't delay your periods. These are vitamin tablets not hormonal so they don't affect periods. Several other things can tho including stress, diet, exercise etc etc

aww thanks for that...am so freaking out 10days delayed and no period yet. I get white discharge,.dont' know whats going on with me..

The freaking out is likely to delay your period further. You're either pregnant but it's too early to tell or your period is late/ missed it which is s very common thing. 1 missed period is not an issue

OK Thanks for that...the white discharge is freaking me as I use to be dry before periods..am going to test again on this friday, will see...tested one on this Monday and it was negative..

I'm in a similar position to you- 2 tests so far and have come back negative am 5 days overdue period however only our 1st month Ttc and first month after coming off the pill so wondering if it's my body adjusting that has delayed my period. Same discharge types as you though which is making me question things, good luck with any future tests you do. I'm new to all of this Ttc so am welcome of any advice or comments please .

Thanks so much . I am going to test on Friday with digital clear blue. Am having white discharge for a week . It's actually a mix of white and watery discharge. Do you have any other symptoms??? I don't have any other. Good luck with yours. Take folic acid.

If you having a lot of white discharge it could be thrush. You can buy a canestan pessary (vaginal tablet) over the counter if you think this is the cause. White vaginal discharge doesn't mean you are pregnant

Ok I don't have a lot , I just have little discharge may be 4 to 5 times a day for 1 week .I don't have any itchiness ,can I still have the tablet you mentioned. ??

If you're not sure if it's thrush or not then I'd ask the gp to take a swab. If it's not itchy it doesn't really sound like thrush. You can always go to a gum clinic and they can do all those tests swabs etc if there any doubt if it could be sti related.

OK Thanks for that... I took one test this morning with clear blue and its negative. I am flying next Wednesday to India and I can do all the test immediately , I thought I can figure out before I fly as its quite long flight hours. God only knows whats happening with me. Thanks for your time for replying.. Highly appericate it. I don't have anyone here to talk and I have always feel alone...am glad to see people responding. Thanks again.

I have a similar problem. I’m only 2 days late for the first time in years but it’s the first time I’ve taken any vitamin.

How long after did you end up having your period?

I’ve looked on Amazon negative reviews on Pregnacare and there’s hundred of women saying it has stopped their period. So it’s clearly the vitamins that are doing something to us.

I’m so anxious to know how long it will take for my period to come back. I’ve only been taking them for a week
