Mucus plug at 29 w and 5 d

Is this normal this. This is my 2nd pregnancy in my first pregnancy I did not see any mucus plug but this is my second one and mine it's clear mucus plug with no color what does it mean?

Are you saying you have already lost your plug? If so id call maternity/ get checked ASAP as I think it's pretty early. Good luck.

ok first don't panic, this happened to me with my second pregnancy I was only 23 weeks and scared, my midwife told me very calmly that loosing the plug early is no big deal as actually they grow back you can also google this it will give you the same information, you only need to worry if you loose blood afterward and I mean a quarter pint or more again this is what I was told by both my midwife doctor and my consultant, or if you start having contractions

I was told that if you loose your plug it doesn't mean you are gonna start labouring straight away. I lost mine with my 1st at 30weeks bit bloody but no bleeding after I had irregular contractions on and off for few weeks and lots of back pain. They checked me at 34 weeks and I was 2cm dilated so was in slow labour. Doctors weren't worried at all so font think you need to worry too much just let your midwife know so she can record it n keep an eye on you if you experience regular contractions or bleeding go to the hospital xx
