I used to find small frequent meals especially high in carbs used to help. I found getting hungry made things worse. Try ginger biscuits or ginger ale too might help. It's until you find the balance.

Hello there,

What roxannacar said worked for me very well too. But I remember going to the kitchen at work and smell what the people were warming up in the microwaves at lunchtime and feeling awful!

Also little mint sweets and have frequent sips of water will help if you don't feel like eating.

Hi I agree with all the things the other posts wrote. I found eating small but often, carbs were better for me. Mints, like polos worked a bit too. Drinking through a straw really helped when I struggled to keep water down...little sips through a straw were manageable.

Hope it gets better soon...it really is a crappy feeling! You are not alone!

Hiya, yep everyone else has got it right with this one I think, nibbling little bits of food regularly really helped to calm my stomach. Personally I have gone completely off anything sweet, so I have salty crackers to nibble, or crisps. Also you could try a very hot or very cold drink, like hot squash or green tea, or iced water. That works for me too.

I went through this phase at around the same time as you, and I just had to try loads of different stuff until I found something I liked. I've got used to what sets me off now so it's easier. You just have to go with the flow and if you fancy something in particular then just go out and get it - if you can! What you can and can't eat is so individual. You'll probably find something really random and obscure that you suddenly love!
