Hi froggygirl, not sure if it's normal but if it's any consolation I've been having hot flushes too! I'm 9wks. I believe it's to do with the hormones exploding within us at the moment. Don't forget beanie is growing at an amazing rate - doubling in size every week!! Last summer I had to undergo a treatment that effectively gave me the menopause so these flushes during hot summer days are old hat to me. Our bodies are going through so many changes it's easy to jump and panic at every twinge. To help me I've got myself only one pregnancy book and when I'm in real doubt I see my GP or post here (not met my MW yet). There's so much info out there it's so easy to get overwhelmed. My journey's a little complicated but stay in touch, we've got another 7-8 months to go yet :) Oh and buy a fan to keep in your handbag :) They're predicting a long hot summer :)

Thank you very much for your in put. I'm just so uncomfortable it's unreal, can't wait for winter lol. Yes, we still have a ways to go! Good luck on your journey, message me any time!

I would say it's fairly normal - I remember feeling too hot when I was pregnant in the winter! X

Hi, I'm also 6 weeks and feeling hot a lot of the time! Had the similar with my first pregnancy but more at the end as lo was born in June, so early stage was during autumn/winter. Not used to this early stage hotness! Can't say I'm enjoying it and can only moan to my husband as haven't told anyone else yet! Am coping at night with fan on, thin sheet, cold water and windows open! Oh and i find getting my feet elevated helps too.

Hi. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I'm 10 weeks and also feeling very hot! I have a fan on at night and have taken one to work. I was almost excited when I was cold enough to wear a jumper the other evening. When I found out I was pregnant I thought it was good timing as I won't be heavily pregnant in the summer but I don't think I could be much hotter!

Yes I agree with the not being big pregnant in summer, so not fun! Hopefully summer comes and goes fast for us both!
