Hi, technically you can count back 14 days from the 1st day of period to gestinate ovulation period.

So for 28 day cycle ovulation around day 14

For me I have a 24 day cycle and I ovulate day 10! But I also leant this by using the clear blue ovulation tests for 2-3 months.

Have intercourse up to 5 days before ovulation day and every other day, different position are supposed to be more successful too!

Good luck and if it's still not happening then maybe a trip to GP x

I read on a pregnancy test to have sex every 2-3 days. You can get ovulation test as a pack of 3 for like £1 from savers.

Also if you have been trying for over a year maybe you should see your doctor

I agree with reyreysmum, if you have been trying for over a year, go and see your GP. It takes time to be referred to a specialist in hospital, if you need checking out. There may not be any problem and in the time you are being referred, you may get pregnant naturally, so you have nothing to lose. At least you will have started the process and will not lose any time.

Good luck, I hope you get pregnant soon!
