How often are negative digital pregnancy tests right?
Ive used these tests for both of my pregnancies. I was almost 6 weeks pregnant before I realised I could be pregnant the first time (due to irregular cycle). It came back pregnant first time.
Second pregnancy I suspected pretty early on that I could be pregnant, the test said it would show accurate results from the first day of missed period. I took a test and itsaid negative. A week later I took the second test and it said negative, 2 weeks after missedperiod it came back a faint positive. Once I made an appointment with midwife, she comfirmed I was in fact pregnant.
Was it a digital pregnancy test?
Are you referring to such tests as clearblue?
If so then yes, each time I used clearblue digital test. With second pregnancy I had a pack of 2 and both came back negative.
When I decided to take tests again I used a superstores own brand (not digital) and it confirmed my pregnancy.
Be aware of when you take the test,it is important to take it in the morning (first wee of the day) when you havenot had alot of fluids to drink as it can water down the pregnany hormone and give false readings.
I know some people that have been 3 weeks overdue before they have a positive result
