That’s my question...

I’d say unless you have tested incredibly early and maybe have a test that doesn’t pick up as of 10miu, it’s pretty unlikely that you are pregnant despite a negative test.

Any test picks up from 10-25miu, or thereabouts. By the time you’re about 6 weeks, your hormone levels should be in its 1000s, so would certainly show positive.

We found out through an ultrasound on Friday because I was having extreme pain and bloating They found a baby and heartbeat and I am confirmed I am 18 weeks due February 14☺️ I was on the birth control shot depo so they blamed my symptoms on it for the past 3 months. I switched doctors and was able to get an ultrasound . I have a 3 year old daughter and the symptoms are very similar. I also had a faint positive at 14 weeks with her when I found out and did not show until 5 months because of my tilt unterus. It’s the same this time around but my stomach is smaller because of my ab muscles. I have another ultrasound in two week for more scans and can find out the gender. I pretty much knew all along but my previous doctor was in disbelief because I was on birth control and she couldn’t feel my uterus pushing up. She told me my symptoms was my body reaction to the birth control and quickly dismissed me.

It's called hook effect. I tested sometime ago and it came back almost negative. It was hard to see a second line. My husband came across hook effect. So what you can do is mix your 20 percent of your urine with 80 percent of water, then you should see a second line.
