Has anyone changed formulas with there babies and had any problems!?

I'm swapping from sma to cow and gate purely for the cost but am scared that she won't take it :/ little ones 4 weeks old and am due to start cow and gate with her next feed and it's just occurred to me she may not like it and I have nothing else :(

I think they are all pretty much the same to be honest!! If she is hungry enough she will drink it! If she really isn't happy are you far away from a shop to nip and get sma again? Xx

True :/ no there's a shop 5 mins away so I'll just have to go out and get some sma xx

I agree with the 1st comment made by rachgibson, if she's hungry enough she'll drink/eat it.

But if you do get a bit of trouble with her taking it you could try adding just a little bit more water to the feed by following the measurement guidelines on the feeding bottle.

Just give it a go and see what happens, be confident with it as then can pick up on anxiety and things! Not daft these babies!! :) let us know how she does!! Xx

Hi, I switched from Cow & Gate to Aptimal thinking it would be a slightly better milk for her & she got really constipated after 36 hours so switched back and it sorted her out instantly. She also developed colic at this time but it may not be to do with the change in milk. By all means give it a go but keep a note of how often she usually has a poop so you can see any changes right away. Good luck x

Cow and gate and aptamil are identical! Even in the same box just different name and design. They are made on the same factory x

Something is different about them rachgibson as they taste very different cow & gate is much sweeter, I know as I've tried then when testing temperature!

Thanks everyone. She seems to be doing fine with it thank god :) shopndrop5 she's been for a poo this morning but definitely going to keep an eye on it :) xx
