My baby is 3 months old. The time has literally flown by. He will be walking before I know it. Anyway. I want to get your opinion on what time of day you started to introduce the rice into baby's day. He's still a while off it I just wanted to get an idea for when he starts x

hey, my son will b 22 weeks on tues, time is goin rediculously quick. I give him porridge but he has it for lunch at the mo, I am starting him on veg nxt week so will move the porridge to breakfast and the veg for late afternoon, I hav just received a book by Annabel karmel and in it it has a basic meal planner for the first 3 weeks, starts off with just rice/porridge then moves onto a puree and a porridge then 3 meals, also givs u ideas of purees and the book goes up too toddler age. my son loves his porridge and he feeds himself whilst ending up with it in his hair/nose lol but he loves exploring new textures, I started off with it quite runny but now he has it fairly lumpy which he loves. theres no harm in making up purees now to freeze and use as and when xx
Hey. My boy is 22 weeks and was showing interest in food and trying to eat everything I had from just before 4 months. So 4 months, I started giving baby porridge at lunchtime. After he was used to the plain flavour, I gave him different flavours to try. He also has teeny tastes of my food....where appropriate as he gets upset when I'm eating and not sharing lol! This week I have started giving him a little breakfast and a dinner with milk still accompanying those meals and obviously his normal milk in between x

Forgot to say, I like lunchtime to start as he had been up a while and had a bottle so wouldn't be starving and be impatient with the solids and also plenty of time for the rest of the day to help it go down and be digested properly before bed
When your both relaxed and happy. I think am or lunch as bubs will be less tired too. Recommended age is 6 mnths to start and ur local area may do clinics in ur area too x
