Mucus plug

So I had my 38week midwife this morning and she thinks I've lost my mucus plug as there was a little blood in my urine. I'm 38+3. Baby is also 3/5ths engaged and was only 1/5th 12 days ago.

How long after the mucus plug did you go into labour?

about 2 weeks..u will probli find tht u will lose bits when u wipe..mine came away over few days xx

I didn't loose my plug until I was actually in labour. Hope your baby makes an appearance soon xx

3 weeks with my first, 2 weeks with my second. It can mean labour is imminent for some, and is just a sign that your cervix is getting ready for labour for others - a good sign though! x

9 days but i ended up being induced x

I lost mine a week before I had my baby and I had him on his due date it came out over the week so not all in one go, good luck not long now xxx
