Baby slings....which one is the best???

Hiya guys.

Have been planning on buying a sling but I just can't work out which ones are the best. .

My little one is 2 1/2wks old and having had a c section I thought this might help me still function at home.

Any suggestions?

I have a 'Close Caboo' brought like new off eBay. Not used it loads, but it's a god send when I really need it X

I have a papoozle which I love love love, have got tons of use out of it for both my babies

They're a personal preference I think - if you're unsure google Babywearing groups in your area who normally have a sling library for you to try. I bought mine from the baby show and tried on 6 or 7 before choosing mine x

I have one by baby bjorn tht was given too me...my son loves it..I cleaned my house from top to bottom with him in it today with my music up and he slept the whole time. X

Thanks. Its amazing how you can't do anything when carrying a baby around. Can't wait to buy a sling

yeh I know..although my little chunk is getting quite heavy its a work out in itself carrying him around, x

Well Ayla went down to 5lb 4oz with the traumatic birth and jaundice but she's 19 days old and already weighing in at 6lb 14.5oz. So she may be light now but with that weight gain she's gonna be a right chubbster soon! Lol x

ahh wow thts really gd, shes obv doing really well, finley will b 12 weeks on tues, I get him weighed monthly so will b doing it on tues but he weighed 12lb5 last time so will probs b 13lb something lol xx

Definitely try to find a sling meet in your area and/or a sling library because different slings suit different people. I have a Mobi wrap, a baby bjorn and a Manduca, all have a purpose and have been used at different times. I can still wear my 20 month old on my back in the Manduca. I loved the mobi when she was tiny though and it meant she could sleep on me while I ate breakfast, lunch, do the washing up, cook tea...
