Cramps

Hi everyone

I'm 8 weeks and got my first appointment with my midwife on Wednesday this week. I've had some very light cramping, bit like a dull ache/period pain odd days but not painful. Is this normal? I've read that it is but just wanted to ask on here as you're all very helpful

Yes I had quite a lot of period like cramps. In fact I didn't really believe that I was pregnant as I had cramps and breast pain which are my normal period symptoms.

But I am now 35 weeks so it was a normal pregnancy symptom for me

Hi I also had period like cramps @about 8 wks and when I looked at dates they were when I would have been due my period, I also had light bleeding with my cramps. I'm now 20 wks n all fine so try not 2 worry yrself x

Yes completely normal i'm 17 weeks and still get them mildly m/w says its normal and the babies fine

i believe it's quite normal. i'm 14+3 and i still get them ocassionally, though mildly. i'm sure you are fine.

So pleased to have found this post, as the information about early pregnancy is often confusing regarding spotting etc, 11 weeks and confused over what I belive is a kidney infection causing a little light blood, the drama"!! xax
