Hi other mummies, Im 10 weeks and this heightened sense of smell is driving me nuts. I can't go near the bin and my suede sofa makes me feel constantly queasy. Does it ease off or will it continue for 7 more months?
Im beginning to hope for a cold!!
Thanks xx

Mine eased off round 10 weeks but I still get the odd day where things smell really strongly. I was absolutely adoring the smell of olive oil cooking but could smell the tyres on the road when driving which was horrible!! Hope it improves for you too
Hey!! I had virtually no symptoms but when I looked back I realised my sense of smell went crazy! Could smell burnt toast every where I went and the smell of left over food turned my stomach! Even tiny bits on plates sent me gipping! Made washing up interesting!! It passed at about 14w for me! Xx
Ii eased off about 14 weeks for me, when I stopped having morning sickness. I couldn't stand the smell of bananas, peoples perfume including my own! Also cooking smells were not good at all.. Hopefully it will pass for you soon xxx
This brings back memories! I couldn't cook in the house until I was about 17 weeks when the sensitive nose disappeared. The smell of anything in the oven turned my stomach so lived on takeouts and went to other peoples houses for tea. Mine went when the morning sickness went x
Unfortunately for my husband (as he loves it and I hate it) I can smell whiskey within about a 2mile radius! (well, nearly)
...The other week I cried because the swimming baths smelt of wee!
