Hi, I’m now 17 weeks pregnant and lately been having stomach ache and felt uncomfortable. I don’t know what doing wrong, I been eating healthy, having my fibre and vegetables etc. Makes me feel too uncomfortable to go to work and the trapped wind🙈🤰

If you're constipated that's probably the progesterone, it relaxes all your muscles during pregnancy and also affects your digestive tract. This means your whole process of digestion will be slowed right down and it can get very uncomfortable, I've suffered with it a lot.

Yeah I think I am cause I won’t go for so long then couple of days later I go, like it builds up but I ate all the right foods. My digestion is defiantly slowed down since been pregnant and gets uncomfortable. Feel like I’m the only pregnant one who suffers with this lol

My other 2 pregnancies I never suffered with it. This pregnancy seems to be much harder with lots of sickness and I’ve had brown discharge to.

This happened to me!! I’ve started taking fybogel a couple times a week to try and help. Talk to your midwife for suggestions on what’s safe if you feel worried x

I tried to be good and make healthy choices with the fibre included. But sometimes it didn’t happen🙈

Yeah same I read having high fibre food helps but seen about the same just more windy if anything lol 🙈 Lots of people said just eat what you want and usually I do but I thought eating healthier would help my metabolism x

I usually find a cup of decaf coffee also helps....not sure if it's the placebo effect or because there might be a small amount of caffeine that remains. But hey Ho, not complaining if it gets things going! Drink loads of water too.

I'm almost 18 weeks and I've found that I'm loads more windy and uncomfortable than with my first. I reckon its because I'm usually too busy tending to my toddler than looking after myself!

Hope you feel better soon.

I’ve gone off tea n coffee otherwise that would of been great!

Yeah it’s weird isn’t it I never had it with previous pregnancies but this one I’m more windy and uncomfortable to!🙈yeah I’ve got 2 boys at school and a dog so constant running around after them. I remember the toddler stage lol I was pregnant with my 2nd when had a toddler, know how your feeling lol Suppose just shows how strong ya women are and all we go through!

Look after yourself thanks for the chat x
