Hi mums/mum to b? Anyone had bad top half bck ach cramps especially on the left side it's a killer trying to sleep with it n in theday.Am35w

I am 39+1...I had severe lower back/side pain about 6 weeks ago...woke up in tears...I slept on a hot water bottle for about a week then I got some deep heat freeze spray which was gd. U hav to rest tho as otherwise it wont get btr. My gp said it was where my ligaments had been stretched at quite a quick rate . I tried all the hot water bottle and stuff b4 going bk for painkillers as wanted to try and get rid of it on its own which luckily I did. As not a fan of pain killers. X

Yep exactly how I have been experiencing not nice at all....

It's when I start moving around it gets better rather resting it... It's weired that in rest u should feel alot better.... But good luck ure due any time.... God bless x.

hi, it actually seems that I wrote this,

last night I had a terrible night with back pain mostly at the top half, i hardly slept a wink, it eased of abit when I eventually managed to roll out of bed, when im up standing or walkin its a relieve as im not in so much pain,

im thinking is this the start of my body getting ready for labour, or have I had a draft in my back ? as I get to hot at night I open windows then wake up & im cold

Yes thank you that's exactly wat I do keep windows open n sleep the pain off.... Wel try sleep... But for the last three weeks u have a full filled up bath soak with bath salts in ... Helps for while then the pain comes :-(( but then when am moving around n being mobile with other stuff it's not that noticeable it's when I sit or rest that's weired.... I hope u feel better too...

Hi morning to u too,I also had once with other pregnancy a severe back ach but lower part. it was sooo unbearable .... But this time it's top left hand side...

I get through hot baths ... Or if I keep busy physically in the day then it's not noticeable... At night soak in hit bath with salts.. Which unwinds the pain for a while....
