True or false labour. Braxton Hicks contractions.

So I'm nearly 37 weeks and first time pregnant.... I have back pain and (from what I can gather) braxton hicks contractions. They are irregular and don't hurt so I knew it wasnt true labour signs. What worries me though is because I have a high pain barrier is that I will continue to think that they are practice contractions when they could indeed be the real thing. I've heard that 'you will know when it's true labour'.... Are there any other tell tale signs of true labour? X

You can have contractions in ur back. .. not braxton hicks so I would keep an eye on them!when U say they are not regular how often are u having them a day? Do they keep u up at night and do they stop and start? X

They stop and start, come and go, and I find it hard to move about when they start. Last night was the first time they have kept me awake too. X

I've Read that if u have more than 4 in an hour u should get checked.. maybe it's slow labour starting! Is ring midwife for some advice but I wouldnt be suprised ifu see a plug in the coming week exciting! !! X
