Which bottles do I get??
Hey huni ive got mam anti-colic although im yet to use them as im breastfeeding still but they very nice to look at lol
I used tommee tippee with my second and he took to them right away after breastfeeding xx
I got Tommee Tippee ones - plan on breast feeding and then expressing x
Thanks for asking this as I been considering options too. Bottle types to sterilisers to pumps? I wish to breast feed but also want to bottle for my partner to help feed and bond
The mam ones are great and very reasonably priced. My little one didn't take to tommy tippee so I guess it's baby preference!
Thanks ladies.
No body has mentioned Advent?
I have just bought some mam ones in advance of baby arrival so no idea if they any good yet. I decided on them having asked the same question on a similar forum and loads if people recommended them x
If you're interested in the tommy tippee ones, Tesco had loads of deals on last week - I got a manual breast pump, micro steriliser and 4 extra bottles for less than £40! And think of all the Tesco points!!! I'm not sure if the deals are still on but it's worth a look.
I've not tested them out yet as Peanut has yet to arrive but my sister recommended them - she has been breast feeding and expressing so hubby can help out x
It is just personnal choice but I got Avent ones only because that is the steriliser that I had. Get the bottles to match the steriliser as some are tall and dont fit in different sterilisers.
I've gone for Avent bottles and steriliser on the recommendation of friends and got them on the Mamas and Papas website today reduced which is even better x
My advice is not to stock up on too many of one particular brand...your baby decides which they like! My first used Tommee tippee (formula fed exclusively from 4 weeks), my second is exclusively breast fed but I haven't yet found a bottle that she'll take (with expressed milk), as she is 6 months we have bypassed bottles and are using a £1 sippy cup now!
