Hi hun . first of all congratulations! I had my booking appt at 10 weeks so think I received my letter about 8 so yes I would give them a few more days see if letter comes and if not give them a call. Xx

congrats and yeh ur booking appointment (where u fill in forms, height and weight check and blood pressue) is anything from 8-10 weeks, yeh as 2princes1princess says, maybe if u don't hear anything by weds then call them and explain ur situation and hopefully u will get an app in nxt couple of weeks. x

Cool thanks very much :) x

Congratulations I would call them tmw.... gives them enough time to arrange ur booking in app x

when I was pregnant and I rang then up and even went to my gp I was told they would sent off my referral form and I was like ok, I would wait until it arrive, wrong thing I did, even when I was 12 weeks I didn't got a letter from them, I keep ringing and they keeps telling me nonsense about the time I have to wait for and that's how the nhs works, it was a proper headache. In the end I rang back my GP and I was giving then a piece of my mind and letting then know that because of their faults that's why I am going on to 13 weeks and not having a booking, they accepted it was their fault and sent me straight over to the hospital that very moment, I went in and see the midwife that same day, it was a relief but I was not expecting that sort of hassling. I would advise you to keep on top of it because you cannot trust the NHS and their appointment.

Dont wait till the end of the week, just ring them now. I filled out the forms at about 7 weeks and then had my app when I was about 10 weeks then it took a further 4 weeks to get my scan date. The sooner you have your booking app the sooner your scan date will get booked. Good luck.

Thanks for the comments, I think they said the midwife only is in there on weds? So maybe I should ring then? Or ring today?

Have you got a number for the hospital?call the switchboard and ask to be put through to community midwives or maternity booking/antenatal clinic-you should get to spk to someone that way. They will sort your booking. I had my booking appt letter and scan appt letter the same day so don't worry about 'missing scan because every area is different hun :-) xx

Brill. Hopefully they will say your appt letter is in post :-) xx

You should have your 1st booking appt anytime up to 11-12 weeks. If you haven't heard by 10 weeks, definitely chase.
