So I'm 22 weeks now and it hasn't been an easy ride, first with bleeding for a month and sickness I put on a stone thank god it's evened off now. ..them the siatica kicked in wow that was painful I usually get it in my left bum cheek but usually goes after a nights sleep but not in the right bum cheek Oh no couldn't even take my boys to school it was agony. ..after 10 days of resting I was more mobile and have been quite good up until last week wheni stayed having bad pains in my hips and pubic bone. ..well its more likea burning this was quite bad for 2 days but thankfully eased. . Luckily my daughter was doing hergcse exams and had free time and had been a great help bless her. . My 12 week scan was great and so was the 20 week so apart from getting through all these hurdles baby is doing great love feeling him kicking me about, bought a couple of jumpers for him and2 sleep suits. . And Looked at a pram today. . Mothercare Expedia in blue has good reviews and looks good feeling happy x

Ah pregnancy!

Its not a easy ride is it. Compared to your story / hurdles & other women's ones ive heard on this forum & other websites i 've had quite a easy ride. Apart from the nausea " but not actually being sick" & the splitting pain i would & still get on occassions in the top right side of my ribs ive had a easy flow of this pregnancy.

I being looking at the mothercare website at the baby slings / holders as when this baby's born im getting a bit worried about carrying her around in the cold conditions. (due in November)

Any advise is appreciated xx

I Like the carrycot design I had it for my daughters nearly 17 years ago they have come back. .u can keep them snug with sheets and blankets little hat on and little coat not too thick ohhh I can't wait x

O.K, I'll check it out

I know how you feel its just so exciting, I've already tried so, so hard to "curb" myself from just buying everything. But I promised my other half I wouldn't go crazy with this one. Haha xx

Hi they do the Expedia in a lovely plum colour but what made me think ohhh is u can tilt the carrycot into a slightly upright position so great if they have wind...I saw the silvercross the one with a free carseat will have a look at it tmw to compare but also with the Expedia it has a really good extendable handle, let me know what u think xx

Hello, we went pram shopping on Saturday, not sure how it happened but we came away with 160 nappies and a room and bath thermometer. Ive been looking at one of the Graco prams, its around the £300 mark but like you were saying it has the carry cot design but maybe slightly smaller, also has a free car seat with it, i must be looking in the wrong place for the silver cross pram the other half was interested in it but at our closest mothercare it was £600 only faced forward in more of a psuh chair form and the car seat was an extra £125. I also saw the blue mothercare expedia one which does look very good. I think the OH has got his way and our little mans pram is going to be Lime Green but it is a very cute pram, the only issue we have is we need it to meet all the normal requirements but with the whole foot different in size between us we definately need an adjustable handle or one of us is gonig to have a very bad back

Orh its a tuff start to pregnancy sometimes isn't it. :-( sciatica ouchy its dam right painful indeed... So your starting to look at prams whoop, do you have an idea of what you want practicality over looks or anything that stands out? For me I went for the practical attach car seat to chassis system from mamas and papas. My due date on Wednesday I'm a tad excited. :-) xx

That was my main ask cos we live up 3 flights of stairs! I'm 5'3 and other half is 6'3 and we both find it fine! I'd go to a shop and test it though if you can, and buy from the shop rather than online as they did us some extra money off in the shop and we got the carycot for free.

So you could say this pregnancy has been a right pain the in the @rse, lol. Dont want to joke as I know how painful it can be.

It will be ace getting a swanky new pushcahir. I am not getting anything new, unless it is a girl and I will have to, oooo cant wait.

in reply toMegzey

Yes the biggest lol I have to get new stuff as I had given all of it away! Hoping for some bits off my cousin but that was mainly clothes, as I thought I might be having a girl! Oh well saving as much as I can! But it's nice looking at stuff, and think that he pram is so reasonable it's a must x :)
