Slow labour can take up to a week sometimes with things stopping and starting backache is a sign of labour or I can actually have contractions in ur back I know a couple of my friends did, u may get a show anytime or not right up until the end is so varied all of my pregnancies have been different and the labours. .. u may not havea show at all and just ur waters go out neither just keep doing what ur doing if u can have sex that can help get things going ... keep mobile go for a walk if u can manage it... easier said than done when u feel like howu do! All the best keep us updated xx
Well done for ringing the hospital & following your instincts. In these sort of cases it honestly hard to say as every woman & every pregnancy is different.
I must admit it sounds more worrying than reasurring at these times as you are already feeling getting pelvic pressure.
If you dont have much responsibilities for the rest of the evening my advise would be to get as much rest as you can. "Go to sleep if possible" it could be the last one you get for a while LOL & see how you feel again in the morning. xx
Major exciting news, keep us posted & good luck xx
I had a slow labour with my first and thought I had a chill on my back and a cold. It started on the Tues and then my waters broke on Thursday evening and then he was born 6am on the Fri. I had had a show a week previous. I never had a show with my 2nd. Things dont always go in order, ladies can be in labour and then have to have there waters broken.
