I just can't be arsed about doing anything at the moment - I get in from work, look around my place and think about how messy it's looking; look at the ironing piling up; look at the trousers I have to take up for my sisters OH but all I do is plonk my backside on the sofa, turn on the telly, then when I get hungry make myself some tea.
That seems to be my life at the moment. Lucky my husband isn't here as he is so untidy (more so than me lol) and I don't think the house can take any more mess right now.
I seriously need to get my backside into action as the cleaning fairy won't be making an appearance.
Anyone else like this? I'm coming up to 15 weeks now. I'm so looking forward to when the nesting kicks in.....

I felt the exact same way until recently.. im 36+5 weeks and cant find anything else to clean or organise.. i wouldnt worry just take it easy while you can, the nesting will take over later on in time for baby
YES , Im exactly the same. I'm just passed 16wks and also have a 4yr old child so you can imagine at times the house just being ridiculously messy and most times i just look at it too.
U will get over it. I am 17 weeks and felt like that from week 14. I am just trying to force myself to get out of bed these days to do things. But don't worry u will get there. As for da cleaning fairy ask friends or family to give u a hand. I pay my little sisters or my big son to do things for me this way the house is not a tip.
Lol I was like this all the time and now iv completely changed cuz I'm always awake at like 6/7 a.m I always look at the place and wanna tidy something I'm 36 weeks and doing some of it can be slightly difficult cuz I usually end up getting major backache but trust me I know what u mean but at some point it will change honestly x
I'm so glade you posted this - I was feeling soooo guilty as I spent the whole of yesterday in bed, literally wasted a whole day as I could not be bothered to do anything!
You are not alone. My eldest is on half term this week so both my boys are downstairs playing havoc in the lounge. I was going to think about cleaning but it will be like a bomb site anyway after so I just think whats the point, one of them was driving round the lounge at the weekend in a bubble car and knocked some paint of the skirting board so it looks a right state now. I wouldn't worry. If the cleaning fairy does show her face send her to me please.
Well I bit the bullet and did it. Just been down from cleaing the bathroom and all the cushions are off the sofa and a tent has been set up using my throws and they are eating a banna in there.
I finally got the sewing machine out and took up the trousers and actually ironed my work clothes for today - the ironing board is still up taunting me to do some more though.
Had my first appt with the Obstetrician today and heard the little heartbeat. It's amazing isn't it Feeling very proud of myself at the moment. Looking forward to my 20 week scan on 1st July; hoping that their legs aren't crossed and that we will find out if they are pink or blue.
Oh my god, I'm exactly the same! 16+3 Just cannot be bothered with anything and even cooking dinner is a chore... Work is just meh at the moment too!
I need to do more exercise i think and get more energy! X
I tackled this problem by doing a little biy each day so i dont get overwhelmed, im 15 +4 and still only doing things in small but it slowly starts to add up.
