Cerazette......

Hi I've been on cerazette for a few month but not took it properly in the whole time I've been prescribed. Probs never completed a full week at any 1 time and I've used the morning after pill on a few occasions. About 6 weeks ago I decided to give up the contraceptive in order to try for another baby....I had a period a week later (due on time)... I then had a period about 2 weeks later (10th May - 17th) within all this time we've been sleeping together unprotected.

Is this usual when coming off Cerazette? How long does it usually take to conceive?

Thanks :)

Your periods will be all over the place for a month or longer. I came off the in Feb 2008 Pill after being on it for 10 years and think I caught straight away but I was having short perios for a month so didn't think I had. My son was born 4 weeks early so I think I got my dates muddled up with which period to go by as they were all over the place. There is no set time that it takes to conceive, everyone is different. It took longer to conceive my 2nd after going back on the pill then stopping. I would say if you havent by a year of trying go to your GP.

I came off cerezete July 12 and it took me 4 months to get pregnant, none of my periods were regular in between it took 5 weeks for them to start again, I had been on it for about 10 years just keep going!
