32 weeks pregnant with suspected parvovirus and worried about effects on baby.

32 weeks pregnant and my other children have the Slapped cheek virus and I think I have it to as have had the same symptoms but the rash has not appeared yet. Had a blood test today but scared it will show immunity as I think I think I have it at the moment. Wondered do they keep any of your previous blood samples at the hospital to check them if I am showing immunity? Quite worried about it at the moment so any feedback would be welcome.

You're not in the first 20 weeks, so so long as you don't have sickle cell or trait, you and bump should be fine x

Thank you, just the doctor and midwife won't commit to anything until test results come back.

No, if you have it now, for the first time, it won't show immunity. If you had it ages ago, and have immunity, they will be able to tell.

Most adults are immune and like Dr Fluffy said, you are well out of the risk zone. Good luck xx
