When I go out for a jog, my nipples get so sore it's really painful, I'm using a proper sports bra and don't know what else I can do to help relieve this pain. Any suggestions ladies?
Thanks

Hi eroxie
Its probably got something to do with the sweat your body is creating when you are jogging.
Its really good you are attempting to stay fit & all though.
You could possibly try getting some breast pads to insert into the sports bra perhaps they could also soak up a bit more sweat too.
Im 14 +wks and if I get too hot whilst doing housework or something certain parts of my skin start to irritate me as if I want to peel off my skin. I think its just something to do with the ever increasing pregnancy hormones
xx
Thanks for your suggestion, it's hard enough trying to stay fit and it's even harder when you feel like your nipples are on fire ??. X
When you register the birth of your baby, they give you yet another Bounty pack with free samples of various products. When my husband registered our son, the guy working the desk, in one of the those TMI moments, confessed that he regularly nicks the Lansinoh from the packs to apply to his nipples before a run. You might find doing this (applying it to your nipples, not stealing it from new mothers) provides some relief, and if you're planning to breastfeed it's a product you're going to want around anyway.
What about some cotton wool round ur nipples? Fair play to u still jogging I can barely walk, hope u find something that works so u can keep it up. .nipples being sorer than they already are is not appealing! X
I think a lot of blokes apply vaseline to prevent soreness when running. Good on you for keeping up the running. I was training for a half marathon when I found I was pregnant. Within a couple of weeks I barely had the energy to walk a mile down the road. I'm really missing my running but I'm determined to restart as soon as possible after my little one comes into the world.
Thanks ladies, I have tried the Lansinoh and it didn't help I will try the vasoline and the cotton, maybe a combination. ??
I don't go very far, but I find some days the only time I don't feel nausea use is for that period of time I'm outside and exercising. X
