Hi Folks, I had pelvic radiotherapy in 2019 in Scotland. Piece by piece working through things now. Will join chat together next week.I'm 45 now had 5 weeks radiotherapy then anterior resection. It's been suggested referred for bone scan which GP done right away and it came back to say scoring is too low at 2 therefore don't qualify. Just wondered what I would respond with please? Thank you

hi ginger I had the same in 2019 in Scotland. There is no help or advice for after care I have recently had an xray as I’m constant pain with my hips and back and just told my discs are crumbling and others with too much space between them. All I get is pain control which helps but when asked they said it is not caused by radiation, however I never had pain until after it and it’s just got worse. Hope you get help, I’m grateful for the treatment but just want it recognised what caused it.
