I wanted to share my success story at UT SouthWest where I was treated by the most knowledgable, kind, courteous, caring and professional team of Dr's, Nurses, technicians and staff members during my 5 month stay at the hospital due to Scleroderma necissitating a double lung transplant 3 years ago.
The team at UT fought for me, cared for me and are still involved till this day!
Thank you for the gift of life and for the wonderful transplantation team!

Hi RCollier. It is so great to be connected with the medical team that helped you through such an amazing journey. Being part of a transplant team must be so incredible as you watch some one who has been so ill, become healthy once more. I think your mentioning this helps us all to remember what dedicated and caring people have helped not only those of us who were so fortunate to receive a organ donation, but also those who donated, understand what this gift of life means and to prepare them as their body too goes through a change from the procedure. Dedication, support, understand, and most of all, educating donors and recipients through the journey.
