I had a liver transplant in August, 1992 in Pittsburgh PA. At the time, my husband and I had two very young daughters. I am so grateful to still be here 25 years later, having enjoyed so many milestones as a family!

Nice to meet you, Elizabeth! What a great gift you've given your husband. How are you feeling 25 years later?

I am feeling wonderful. In fact, for the past week, my husband and I have been in Europe to celebrate our 35th anniversary. 25 years ago neither of us would have dreamed that I would have made it this far. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to still be here living life to the fullest

And thank you, my good friend Elizabeth, for sharing your very busy life as an inspiration and 'giving back' for all who follow in your footsteps of many years of active and fulfilled living. Thanks for all you do with TRIO and so many other great organizations in the Philadelphia area and the country.
