Our youngest granddaughter, who has JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis), Uveitus (Uveitus is the eyes) has been taken off Humira as she's doing so well, no more fortnightly injections. At present she's in remission.
We are over the moon. What I will say though is Humira saved our granddaughter's sight.

Hi Alicia, it's been a tough start back, as the app crashed so people kept ringing to make their bookings, the cordless phone ran out of battery on Monday or Tuesday it was that manic, 2 managers on different shifts said it was the worst shift they'd ever had there, the app is now sorted so hopefully it'll be easier from now on x

Greetings: I remember praying for your grand-daughter. 
I thank GOD for your great news, on your little grand daughter . I had a cousin who had juvenile arthritis. When I was younger I always wondered why he couldn't play outside like the rest of us. The J.A. did skip his 2 children, but I do continue to pray this ailment doesn't touch his 3 grandchildren, my little cousins.🙏😇🙏😇🙏😇.

It's an awful condition, especially ones so young. Our granddaughter's had it for 3 years now but she's doing so well. It started in her joints but they got better and it went to her eyes, Uveitus. The medication is amazing and has saved her sight. I'm so sorry to hear your cousin had it when younger but really pleased to hear his children didnt get it. I really hope and pray his grandchildren don't get it.

Uveitis runs in my family. My dad , his 2 sisters, and my 2 cousins, on my dads side of the family have it,. and need eye drops daily. Some of them have had surgery to relieve the pressure when the medication(s) wasn't enough . They all are doing well as long as they take their eye drops, and see their Dr.s for follow up exams .I also have a friend who lost his eyesight because of Diabetes, and Uveitis. My friend is using medical marijuana, and has gotten some of his vision back in a 4-6 hours period after using it He can see 50%,only in black, and white, and grays , which is an amazing gift 
. The medical Marijuana cost him $600 a month. to use when he goes out. Some vision is better than no vision My dad lost his sight in 1 eye, and I thank GOD he has 20/40 vision with his glasses on in the other eye. I can't imagine your young Grand child having to handle J. A., and Uveitis. I know what doesn't break you, will make you stronger. Your Grand daughter has your strong DNA, and is obviously Energizer Bunny# III.😇
Oh my goodness, it really does run in your family, I really do feel for your family, daily eye drops arent nice. Our granddaughter started off with them, I seem to remember, 8 times a day, she hated them. She might need them again but we'll wait and see.
I'm sorry your friend lost his eyesight but its amazing that he's got some sight back with medical Marijuana, I've never heard of it. It's expensive but so are your eyes, they are precious. I'm sorry your dad lost his sight in one eye but I'm so pleased he has his sight in his other eye.
