Dear all,

This afternoon, about 'ten to two', I had a knock on the door.... It was Ryan and Member Of Staff, who I hadn't seen since February. Apparently he had been 'working elsewhere', however he didn't specify.

After a short while, I was still finishing a Late lunch, we went out for a walk in the local area. We deliberately went in the direction of the Pub and, after a few minutes walked over there. It was Very Well Organised, with Table Service and both a covered and uncovered area. We were both asked for our Contact Details, prior to Service... by a very pleasant lady. What I noticed most, after such a long time, was the 'hub- bub' of conversation- the 'men talk', cars, football... the 'girl talk' clothes, shoes... All so Normal... so much missed. There was even a few dogs, being 'petted' but no children 'haring around', not yet, but that Will come.

Hopefully the Beginning of a 'Return To Normality', to the Familiar...Children playing in the street, next door's 'Slobbery Old Dog' covering you in 'doggy lick' (yuck). Derick, from twenty-two, and his 'Specials'.... Carol, from number seven, and her 'Mixtures'..... Hingis and his 'Lottery Predictions'- the only 'thing' he can Predict is that there IS actually a Lottery!

Has anyone else Ventured Out yet?

That's great Andrew. So pleased you enjoyed yourself and yes, it's good to get back to some sort of normality. I noticed in town on Tuesday, a lot of cafes had tables on the pavement and in the main square and there was a definite buzz in the air.

Oh yes. A group of friends I lunch with regularly started again today. We had a pub lunch outside and I had my first pub pint this year. Wonderful!

There were a few children playing and I got chatting to a delightful 2 year old girl who was absolutely adorable. It made my day.

I am glad you got out and enjoyed yourself.

So nice to be able to be sociable again AndrewT. I'm sure it was a lovely feeling of freedom.

So pleased for you Andrew. Looking forward to going for a pub lunch
