OH! Beggorrah! It's St. Paddy's day! but no Guinness this year, which I loved! 😤 [pancreatitis!] (probably too much of it?)🥴No pubs open yet anyhow?🤨Ah Well! the weather forecast is good!😎💚💚
😀🌸
A drink outside even if it's non alcoholic. My dad used to love Guiness
I forgot about that. Happy St Paddy’s day Irish people.
A good day for the lovely Irish
In Chicago we say that everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day! Love your posts!
Brilliant, live that and thank you🙏
Hi, it’s my birthday today, very surprised to have got to 74! Guess my Christian name, my parents had no imagination.
A very happy birthday for today. Now you're not called Guiness😉😉
Hubby puts his potatoes in on Paddy's Day, lifts them on Orangeman's Day! So the saying goes and it works well. Others say in on Good Friday, but date varies too much. Have a good day. Horrible cold March winds here.
Brilliant so it's potatoes in today. Good Friday varies far too much. I'm sorry it's windy where you are.
Happy St Patrick's day to Crazyfitness and all the fab members of HU.
Thank you 🙏
Wouldn't you know it, of all days I'm off to hospital this afternoon, for an update on my operation ten months ago for the removal of a growth on my bowel. Born in Ireland and left in 1949 to start a new life in UK. Still have an Irish accent.
That is such hard luck, though at least you won't be be missing any big celebrations this year. Glad you still have the accent
Wishing you the very best of luck for today, I really hope all's ok. That's great you still have an accent.🙏
Thank you all for your kind wishes. Though I'd had no wish to know it I was told the result of my operation; I had bowel cancer. Nothing new there after stomach cancer (Total Gastrectomy some ten years and eight months ago) and two operations for skin cancer. I had no interest in having a scan as I shall continue as always to live life my way. The specialist was surprised that I had survived for so long from the loss of my stomach. Again they repeated that the survival rate for the op was five years. I'll be quite content to make it my 90th birthday in seven months time. Living alone is no problem for me as I've spent my formative years up to the age of sixteen without family or friends. Life is one long interesting learning journey, some new challenges every day. Best of luck to you all.
Firstly I'm so sorry that you have been told that the growth was bowel cancer. But I have to say that your attitude to life is inspiring and I'm so pleased you have lived well beyond the expert's expectations and living life to the full. I really to hope you make it to your 90th birthday and the way in which you have been living these past few months who's not to say you won't make your 90th.
Thank you very much for sharing and you really are a true inspiration.

“Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh! Happy St Patricks Day to you all! I'm celebrating by going for a run. Later this evening I'll drink a toast to my late brother. His favourite drink is called Irish Mist. (Though we called it Fog). Let the fog roll in!
☘️☘️
And to you Teresa and hope you enjoyed your run.
Enjoy your drink tonight thinking of your brother.😘
Hello crazyfitness
I am not Irish at all, but great reason to have some corned beef and cabbage, one of my favorites.
Thank you. Happy St Patrick's Day to you too. 🍀
