Walked to village church today as so sunny here in the south east. Note the thatched cottages in the background! So uplifting.

You don't often see a church roof this lovely terracotta colour Diana. I really like it.It makes such a difference walking on a decent day.

I’ll have to investigate next time we can see my son’s family (in S. Walden). We cone through Newport and turn right just before you along Newport Rd! So close...

Yes, do have a little detour. If you go 3 miles further on from Wenden, you come to Arkesden, the prettiest village full of thatched cottages and the Best pub!
