Down in dover we have queues of lorries for nearly 2 weeks .Same at eurotunnel

All with engines running and chucking out diesel fumes

Dover 4th in the list of U.K. covid cases . Kent worst county any connection of. COvid and diesel fumes spreading the disease?

Be interesting the 2nd /3rd week in January once queues and stockpiling finish . Kent + ports could be lowest area again

It can't be good for those with other respiratory illnesses either.

I'm not so sure about that as if diesel fumes are oily/greasy, wouldn't that engulf the spores (?) of covid and render them useless? Just a thought. 🙃

Hope you manage to get those case numbers in Kent down soon Jsk1950.

My Daughter is a Postie, out on the street delivering, and she tells me, in spite of what people are saying, Royal mail are busy, but keeping up with deliveries..... I was expecting a parcel via Royal Mail today, but it arrived on Wednesday!

We have somewhat the same problem with mail here. Mail delivery is every other day as so many postmen are in quarantine. The situation is getting better but slowly.
