I did some reading before bed last night. Iβm still in the middle of James Pattersonβs βThe Chefβ. Iβm about to start Chapter 76. Right now, Detective Caleb Rooney is working as a Chef and a Private Detective at the same time during the Mardi Grasβs big festival. Heβs serving lots of food from his food truck/restaurant, βThe Killer Chefβ. So far, everyone that has come to attend the Mardi Gras celebration is lining up to get their orders faster than can be served/cooked! Itβs amazing that Caleb and Marlene (and now Vanessa β an ex-owner of another restaurant) is able to keep up with everyone standing there waiting patiently for their orders.
While the festival is also going on, Caleb gets a call from another Private Detective whoβs a friend of his and says that they see David Needham in the crowd. Caleb goes after David and says that he wants him to βtell the truth finally about what he knows about a plan that will take place during the festivalβ. David gets nervous and starts panicking. He said he has no idea what Caleb is talking about and no idea what plan is going to be done at the festival.
Stay tuned for more updates!
After I finish βThe Chefβ, I plan to start reading βRose Madderβ, by Stephen King.
Okay, now to you! What have you been reading recently?
