That did take a long time to get a new cooker! How did you manage without one?

Oh my goodness, that took a very long time. I'd be lost without my cooker.

Good evening Andrew

That is what l call service, hopefully it was with a smile!

Unbelievable delay in this day and age. Did they give you a reason for the five months plus wait?

Best wishes, Tim.

I live in Supported Living, which means that there Is a Landlord 'Inclusion Housing', they DO have a Repairs Team, to whome I reported this Repair. However, somewhere 'along the line', this Repair was somehow 'Overlooked'.

When I did, abmittedly after some time, 'Chase' the repair 'they' were VERY appologetic indeed..... and had it Prioritsed, that was about a week ago. I sould point out that, since I was- and am- in the Shielding Group, I had to be VERY Careful regarding 'Access' to my home.

So really, it was a 'series of unfortunate circumstances', that lead to the delay in getting my new Cooker. I cooked a beautiful 'Honey Roast' Gammon tonight.... and it came out Brilliant.

Anyway an Early Start tomorrow, a Dermatology Appiontment. So I'll say Night, Night.

Great AndrewT. I had quite a long spell without an oven too earlier this year, for several reasons, so I know what a lovely feeling it is to get a new one. You can have a nice roast dinner now! 👍😃

That was a long time to wait. I almost shattered ours tonight. Now I am extra glad I didn’t!

Just bought a new cooker myself Andrew, not stopped cooking since. My son bought me a food processor last Christmas. Been making my own bread, soups, pies, pasta bakes, souffles etc
