Everytime I went over to my grandmothers place there was always a full jar of peanuts.

Since I love peanuts, I would always eat a lot of them whenever I was at her house.

One day I finally asked my grandmother why she always had a full jar of peanuts lying around.

Grandma: well, I don't have teeth anymore hunny, I can only suck the chocolate off of them. I am always so greatful for you when you eat them.

And some insurance claims for AndrewT and Crafttperon πŸ™‚

"I was driving along the motorway when the police pulled me over onto the hard shoulder. Unfortunately I was in the middle lane and there was another car in the way.."

"Going to work at 7am this morning I drove out of my drive straight into a bus. The bus was 5 minutes early.."

"The accident happened because I had one eye on the lorry in front, one eye on the pedestrian and the other on the car behind."

"I started to slow down but the traffic was more stationary than I thought."

"I pulled into a lay-by with smoke coming from under the hood. I realised the car was on fire so took my dog and smothered it with a blanket."

Q: Could either driver have done anything to avoid the accident? A: Travelled by bus?

The claimant had collided with a cow. The questions and answers on the claim form were - Q: What warning was given by you? A: Horn. Q: What warning was given by the other party? A: Moo.

"I started to turn and it was at this point I noticed a camel and an elephant tethered at the verge. This distraction caused me to lose concentration and hit a bollard."

"On approach to the traffic lights the car in front suddenly broke."

"I didn't think the speed limit applied after midnight"

"I knew the dog was possessive about the car but I would not have asked her to drive it if I had thought there was any risk."

Q: Do you engage in motorcycling, hunting or any other pastimes of a hazardous nature? A: "I Watch the Lottery Show and listen to Terry Wogan."

"First car stopped suddenly, second car hit first car and a haggis ran into the rear of second car."

"Windscreen broken. Cause unknown. Probably Voodoo."

"The car in front hit the pedestrian but he got up so I hit him again"

"I pulled away from the side of the road, glanced at my mother-in-law and headed over the embankment."

"The other car collided with mine without giving warning of its intention."

"I collided with a stationary truck coming the other way"

"A truck backed through my windshield into my wife's face"

"A pedestrian hit me and went under my car"

"In an attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone pole."

"I had been shopping for plants all day and was on my way home. As I reached an intersection a hedge sprang up obscuring my vision and I did not see the other car."

"I was on my way to the doctor with rear end trouble when my universal joint gave way causing me to have an accident."

"An invisible car came out of nowhere, struck my car and vanished."

"I was thrown from the car as it left the road. I was later found in a ditch by some stray cows."

"I thought my window was down, but I found it was up when I put my head through it."

"The guy was all over the road. I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him."

"I had been driving for forty years when I fell asleep at the wheel and had an accident."

"As I approached an intersection a sign suddenly appeared in a place where no stop sign had ever appeared before."

"To avoid hitting the bumper of the car in front I struck a pedestrian."

"My car was legally parked as it backed into another vehicle."

"I told the police that I was not injured, but on removing my hat found that I had a fractured skull."

"I was sure the old fellow would never make it to the other side of the road when I struck him."

"The pedestrian had no idea which way to run as I ran over him."

"I saw a slow moving, sad faced old gentleman as he bounced off the roof of my car."

"The indirect cause of the accident was a little guy in a small car with a big mouth."

"The telephone pole was approaching. I was attempting to swerve out of the way when I struck the front end."

"The gentleman behind me struck me on the backside. He then went to rest in a bush with just his rear end showing. "

Thankyou for the lovely compliment Bazzak. I really appreciate it. πŸ’•

My Grandson ( Ava's Dad ) said that our Ava πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ was a lot like me. Perhaps it has something to do with Genetics. πŸ€°πŸ‘ΌπŸ€±.

An original is worth much more than a copy. Barry, you are an original. please stay that way.

What started off not to be such a good day , have been turned around. Thanks to you. πŸ‘.I have only just stopped crying,

Not because of being sad or depressed.

Well, Barry you have done it again, very many thanks 😊 πŸ™ !! You have made our day.

There so many very amusing quotes, humans are so original. Where do they get these answers from, one of your joke books probably. πŸ˜‚

The peanut Granny was so believable, l feel that l will only eat peanuts now straight from a packet, never from some old jar.

We wish you and your family a wonderful week, take care, Tim & Carmen 😍.

P.S. l cannot believe that October will be arriving this week, this year has to be the weirdest in my life.

Sorry I meant to mention Glo, what she and her family are going through must truly be the worst experience imaginable.

Glo just keeps coming back stronger, keeping her sense of humour and equally her very strong faith. Such a pleasure to witness knowing what she is going through, plus Covid-19 around every corner.

I feel that you are playing a big part in keeping that smile on Glo’s face Barry, thank you!!

Best wishes, Tim.

A very good morning to you Glo

Life for you Glo and your family has been incredibly tough this year, you are all definitely allowed to feel tearful, l so wish that we could all lighten your pain and sadness.

You must look after yourself so that you are strong for Ava when she comes home. What a truly wonderful day that will be.❀️

Barry is doing a wonderful job, he does sound like a really great person who cares deeply about his family and those in need. At times rarely seen in this day and age.

We pray that little Ava will soon be back within her such loving family. She deserves all the love and attention l know that she will receive. God bless her and you Glo, you have touched so many hearts recently with your strength and caring for Ava. You and your family sound such wonderful people.

Take care of yourselves, l can only wish you all the strength to carry on, you are doing amazingly well, bless you.

Good Afternoon Tim. This little message did start as Good Morning, but I had to leave it because I wasn't too good ( Flipping Angina.) I'm okay now though. Life has been really hard for all of us this past year. But Our Princess Ava πŸ‘Έ is recovering really well. I think that when the Lockdown is lifted, she will be back home with her Daddy.πŸ‘ .Hooray for thatπŸ‘ΈπŸ™πŸ‘.πŸŽ‰. πŸ€—πŸ˜„ Can't wait to give her a CWTCH. John just came in looking a bit gloomy. I asked him what was wrong and he said that our Eldest Son Karl was poorly. He was tested for the Virus this morning. I pray to God that it's nothing serious. He's got a number of health problems. Hes Diabetic and he's got Asthma .He's also got trouble with one of his Heart Valves..Tim if anything happens to our Karl, I'm done. He's the most wonderful Son that you could wish for. It doesn't matter where we are or who we are with. When he' saying Bye to me, he always gives me a Great Big CWTCH and says "Love you to the Moon and back Mam , and beyond ".Always. Thankyou Tim. Have to go. You and your Family Take Care .Glo

footgoβ€’ in reply toKB47

Oh Glo, l am so very sorry, reading your message. It seems that it β€˜never rains but it pours’ in your life this year.

I am also sorry to read about your angina Glo and Karl, l sincerely hope that everything will be well for him. He sounds like a great son!

Life can be so cruel at times and we just pray that 2021 turns out to be a much better year for you and your family.

I wish you all a restful afternoon and evening. My very best wishes, Tim.

Thankyou Tim. Karl is a Lovely Son. The trouble is, his Wife is a carer. She goes from house to house looking after the Elderly. She has an Autistic Son. He loves our Karl more than his own Dad, and our Karl loves him. He was sent home from School last week because some of the Pupils were proven Positive for the Virus. They shut part of the High School down because of it. .They should have closed the whole school down . 4 months ago our next door neighbour passed away with the Coronaviru's. On the same day our Daughter in Law's ( Karl's Wife's ) uncle passed away with the Virus. Then 2 weeks after that her Brother's young Wife passed away with the Coronaviru's. leaving behind 2 Little, Girls. Every year we've been saying, "Oh well, next year is going to be a better year for us" .But it hasn't ,its just getting worse . I said to John a couple of weeks ago that if I had a different life before this one, ( Reincarnation ).I must have been a right old B...h. John just laughed and said "Naa.". What is happening to our World πŸ€”Tim. Everything is crazy. Glo.πŸ™„

footgo profile image
footgoβ€’ in reply toKB47

You are so very right Glo, l often ask myself what is happening to this world?

There are just too many tragic disasters happening everywhere, everyday. This year especially apart from the coronavirus.

The terrible events that you have mentioned above really are beyond belief. Tragic, you really have had enough this year for sure. I really am so sorry, it just is not right!!

I wish you and John a good night’s sleep, Tim.

Tim, I apologise for not answering you earlier, but I've not been very well. But Hey, our Little Ava πŸ‘Έis coming on leaps and bounds. She's a real little trooper alright. I just LoveπŸ’• her to bits. Still haven't been able to give her a CWTCHπŸ€—πŸ€— though. Our Karl haven't been very well. He haven't got the Virus, but he's got numerous health issues .πŸ’¦πŸ’¦. Looks like John has to go in hospital shortly..OOOH I feel like pulling my hair out. I haven't even been able to have any of our Son's here for the past few weeks. I'm having some kind of injections done on Friday, to see if they can help control my pain. Then for another 3 weeks after as well. I'm not worried about Self isolation, because I've been housebound for nearly 6 years. But I do miss not seeing my Son's. None of them will come over to wave to me through the window Because they don't trust me. They think that I'll creep out to give em a HugπŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—. 😊 I wish . Gotta stop feeling sorry for myself. It's not gonna get me anywhere. Thanks for thinking of us Tim. You and your Family Stay Safe. Glo❣ xx
