This tree is not far from here - on one of my regular walks.

I don't post everything I take every day so, on a day like today... when I did not walk till 20:00 and still git slightly damp...

My mirrorless micro 4/3 camera has a flip-out LCD, which makes it easy to compose with the camera close to the ground.

I'm no photographer so can't comment on the technicalities of your photography but what a wonderful gnarly old tree! Great pic!

I’m always amazed how some trees can survive when they look like that.

Beautiful old tree. I bet it has many stories to tell.

I love this and imagine how much wildlife that one tree is supporting - amazing!
