This makes me miss having a horse, she is beautiful 😍
What did you have? This is my little Arabian Tune, aka WBF Morning Star. She's a doll.
I had a Welsh cross! He passed away June of last year, Had so many good memories with him though. ❤️
I'm sorry for your loss - that's the tough part about horses, but I'm so glad you have good memories!
Definitely amazing animals but it’s very tough.
That's really sad, they are such lovely spiritual creatures.
They are so lovely! Hopefully I will get back into riding again soon. I sure miss it but it will never be the same.
I understand, you obviously had a bond with your horse. x
You must be so happy to have her, she's a beauty. 👍😊
And she's a sweetie too!
She's gorgeous Wallowa and has a lovely coat, you obviously look after her really well. xx
She's mighty pretty! thank you!
Yes, she really is. xx
Gorgeous. 😍 absolutely love horses
Lovely lines. A very good looking horse. Do you spend a lot of time grooming her?
I can see how cosseted and treasured she is by you Wallowa. A most lovely and well cared for creature! 🐴😊
Yes, she landed well. She came from a fancy Arabian farm that ran out of money, so she had some issues that we worked on a lot - about 100 miles of ground work before she started moving more correctly.
Yes!
She thanks you, and I thank you!
Lovely horse. I wish I could ride cannot all to many kids at minute where I ride with friends . Enjoy your horse.
I do, thanks! She's a treat!
I know your so lucky . Would be my dream to own one !
I had horses as a kid, but got back to it maybe 15 years ago. I actually have two depending on how you count - the little dark mare and then a giant dun quarter horse who belongs to someone else, but who is retired with me for care. His person pays for his board, I do his care. He's 29 (about 80 in horse years, but very spry). I'm going to ride him very gently a little bit this morning.
Oh how lovely you have 2 to keep each other company and the other one enjoys the riding .
The older horse was much loved by his person, but they had to move to a lower elevation because we are so high it exacerbated her husband's COPD. She debated for months before deciding to leave him with me as she thought she wouldn't have time to properly care for him. (She thought her spouse might need increasing care.) Amazingly, the move made it so he didn't need oxygen, and he could do chores and be happy. They do have to be careful (fair amount more covid where they are, but also more family support in the area if they need stuff) but so far they are sheltering safely and doing well. And so is her old horse. I send her photos, drawings and updates so she can be assured he's well.
I enjoy looking at horses from afar, but am afraid to get near them. Please give them 🥕🥕for me if you’re able. Morning Star looks fit for the Queen!
Will do!
