Morning walks

Last year I had a heart attack, treated well and stents fitted in November. So I started walking and retired just as lockdown set in here, good timing. Anyway there’s this one family that is doing really well with the social distancing, seven kids and if you get too close they really hiss at you to back off.

Sorry to hear you had a heart attack last year and I hope you’re well on the mend.

Lovely photo. Will be interesting seeing them all grow over the following weeks.

They are adorable. 👍😊

They are beautiful Rowing58. Thanks for sharing. I love this time of the year with its profusion of duckings, goslings and chicks. Congratulations on weathering your heart attack so well and working back to full health. Keep up the good work! 😊

Oh yes doing very well with the rehab. I finished the first phase rehab before lockdown, and have built up the walks daily, so I feel I’m fitter than I was before and losing weight too.

By choosing your routes it’s amazing how much more you can see of the wildlife and flowers around your area. Also found a family of Canada geese, which do not get the good PR that swans do. Just as cute though.

Ps the support I have got in the forums has been fantastic, and if my posts on here help someone else in the same way then it’s all worthwhile.

As I say to a lot of ha sufferers “congratulations you’re a winner, you’ve survived!” Its an odd outlook but that message is a positive one when after any event like that you go through the “why me stage”.

Take care y’all and I’ll post some more from the swan family.
