But it might be on the news as he has done so much for the country as in fighting in WW2 and raising a lot of money for the NHS and showing that the nation is strong and we are strong as individuals.
Very sensible and I think it's great what they are doing.
Now that is indeed great news! I'm so pleased they've found a way of honouring him. Thanks for letting us all know. It was disappointing to think it wasn't going ahead for him.
Such a wonderful tribute to Capt. Tom! He is such an inspiration for me. Here, in the USA, yesterday, the Blue Angels ( F-16 fighter jets ), and The United States Air Force Thunderbirds, flew, in formation, above New York City, honoring the first responders and medical personnel on the front lines, who are saving lives every day, during this Pandemic Plague of 2020 - COVID-19 🦠!
Yes, it is wonderful news and so sensible in the circumstances. Warm wishes.tina.x🤗
That is good news honouring those who have given so much to their country. I hope Capt Tom enjoys his honour and it shows how much respect people have for him and the services.
So well deserved as well as everything else that he will get. Brian
That's brilliant hope he doesn't miss it opening his now 125,000 cards but probably risen by now not to mention the virtual cards he's been sent
