Normally the Jackals stay away from human settlements. It is rare to sight jackals in day time... they come out in the evenings.
Please watch the complete video- jackals move around freely in the park during day time -not afraid of one or two people in the park.
After the Sun sets in , the Jackals howl to establish their territorial status. So it appears it is the day of the Jackals today.😊

Hi namaha, It's so interesting to see wildlife all over the world reclaiming territory which humans had taken away from them. It's a solemn reminder that we all need to share our space more mindfully! Thanks for sharing that video!
How amazing! They look so calm but just like the urban foxes in the UK there's no mistaking their call at night!
So heartening, but a shame this isn't the norm. Many wild animals are venturing into populated areas worldwide since we've allowed them quiet spaces....... 🐾
