PMR Patient Videos

Some of you may be aware of - and some of you may have contributed to - our series of video stories from PMR patients. They have been created as part of the PMR Paradox project (an NIHR funded research project we're working on in conjunction with Leeds University Hospital). The videos give a clear insight into what it's like to have PMR - from the early symptoms, to diagnosis to managing the condition. Our volunteer storytellers generously shared their experiences and tips to help other patients.

They're also really valuable for sharing with people who don't have the condition so that they can understand a little better what you might be going through.

We've just loaded them on to our website and you can find out more and watch them using this link pmrgca.org.uk/people-with-p...

A big thank you to all the contributors and to Lucas Coutin who pulled this all together.

Fran..this is fantastic. Thank you. Is there any funding for the future for doing the same thing for GCA?

Hi Temoral, I can't answer on the funding question but we definitely would love to create some of these for GCA.

It is really great to see these videos! I am going to send links to a couple family members to help them understand what I've been going through. Great to see and hear from actual sufferers and how they cope.
