every couple of weeks I’m getting a sore patch on scalp for a couple of days. I can’t lay on that part of my head. Contacted rheumatologist a few weeks ago to be told bloods are still low so do not increase. To be honest I have been upping by a few mg until it passes. I’m on 5 mg which I have been on since may. Do I just ride it out or not? It’s always the same place. I’m at a loss. 😌

I would see my GP. It is sometimes difficult to engage specialists with general ailments.
I saw the Gp on Friday. Because of GCA they say it has to be the rheumatologist… can you still have the tenderness on the scalp with normal bloods and nearly 2 years of nothing raised since the beginning?
Could the GP see anything? Wondering why they discounted a possible non-GCA diagnosis so readily. Where is it exactly? How big is it?
Left side top of head going downwards. Very tender. As I say it’s happened every couple of weeks for last 2 months. Sane place all the time. No shooting pains like I got at the beginning of diagnosis. Just the bloods are not showing inflammation.
