Diagnosed in Oct 2024 after lots of ups and downs I finally finished my last taper to zero at the end of August.I took myself off to have bloods to check my CRP and ESR this week as among other aches and pains my hands are really bad. Numb, tingling and painful. Wakes me up at night. I could cry with the pain.
Anyway my blood results CRP 5 ESR 15 so can't be PMR. I am going to see my doctor on Friday but don't hold out much hope not overly confident with her.
Any help would be appreciated

Which parts of your hands are numb and tingling? If it is your fingers too it could be a trapped nerve, carpal tunnel gets the median nerve and the ulnar nerve can also get trapped, they affect different fingers.
But don't dismiss PMR sneaking back - the markers can lag a long way behind and it is only 2 months yet for inflammation to build up.
