May just be the drop - and body adjusting if so, it should be okay in a couple of days…but if not you might need to go back to previous dose..

Hope not, and although a drop from 30mg to 20mg is in guidelines, very often it’s too much.

Would suggest if you do have to return to 30mg you discuss with doctor and say you’d like to try a 5mg drop next time, as this was too much.

Please let us know how things go.

Thank you. I feel it’s a large drop especially as I was on 40 just 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for app with rheumy - have so many questions for them !!

Absolutely-and a bad move on rheumatologist to drop you that quickly.

Most probably the reaction to a 33% change in dose - when 10% is recommended and still more than a lot can cope with. I would have done 2x 5mg myself. But it may settle down after a few days so it is OK to wait and see,

PS - if I'd halved a high dose like that in 2 weeks I think I might feel a bit ropey!!

Not what you're looking for?
