I’ve just been recalled by GP for Covid/flu vac. Coincidentally I’ve just had Covid so I know I need to wait 6~8 weeks before booking appointment. This will be my fist vac since contracting PMR diagnosed in May this year. Is there anything I should be aware of? I assume I should still have the Vac? Any contra indications (trying to ignore all extream stuff out there! ) I. On 10 mg of pred. Thanks for help.

I've had all the jabs offered here in Italy - slightly less often than the UK. The second one gave me a flare for a few weeks, no others did so. The bivalent one nearly 2 years ago woke up my atrial fibrillation but it didn't stop me getting the next one offered and it had absolutely no adverse effects. Not even a sore arm. If the jab does something - just think what Covid itself might do!
