Hello everyone

Got over my pmr about 2 yrs ago. Then developed Atrial Fibrilation

2 stents and a Pacemaker. Oh well. However I have just been told I have Osteoporosis

and Ostopenia. I remember reading about one of the members who was able to reverse

hers by diet and exercise. It would be great to read her story.

I have just turned 79.

Thanks, Cheryle

Which have you got - osteoporosis or osteopenia? Once you have reached a specific bone density, you are defined as having osteoporosis. Osteopenia just means your bone density is lower than it was at 30 years old.

It seems that wearing ‘weight’ vests can help osteoporosis. In fact any weights should help, such as exercise with dumb bells. I suppose you could eat a lot and put on weight !!!! 😂😂
