PMRpro, SnazzyD and DorsetLady. I had a Blood test done Tuesday, and an appointment to see the Rheumatologist Wednesday afternoon. She said blood test showed no raised inflammation. I pointed out that I had been on Pred for 6 years, and only down to 5.5mg. She arranged an urgent appointment to see the Ophthalmologist Thursday morning. After a long series of tests, he said that everything looked fine, and would send his results to the Rheumatologist, which he did while I was sitting there. He added that I would get a telephone call, STILL WAITING. The temple pain and headache is less than it was, but still there. A strip of Pred is always at hand, just in case. Trevor.

It is frightening how little some doctors know about the reaction of drugs.

Not great is it? At least a thorough look at the eyes hasn’t thrown anything up that’s obviously bad. If it is GCA affecting elsewhere, time will tell. It’s not a good feeling having to push and feel you have to fight a corner is it?
