Kevzara

Who has had experience with Kevara? I have been approved for the "free" program, but I am hesitant.

I also live in the United States, and have begun the treatment with Kevzara. I have administered 3 shots over the last 6 weeks.

It was a big decision for me to try Kevzara, and after a year of thought I decided to be a pioneer and experiment. All the literature says can take 12 weeks to feel total benefits and I believe this to be true. I have had more days than not with feeling better, and I can only hope that those some days become all days by week 12.

Besides a small red itchy circle at the injection site fir the first two injections, ( the third had no reaction) I have had no negative side effects.

Fingers crossed that Kevzara is my answer to easier tapering if prednisone and eventual remission. I do realize that in trials 35 percent of participants were able to achieve remission…. Perhaps I will fall in the 35 percentage! Fingers crossed!

Yes, you can go to their website; however, your doctor will have to push for you to be approved for the free program. She/he will have a form to fill out in addition to one from you.
