Injury define sick day?

A week ago I went to a BBQ and my son had bought Muskoka chairs.I never gave it a thought that the back goes in deep.I got up with sciatica and pain in lower back.Started to feel better but today I have pain everywhere.Has this triggered a flare? Tylenol helped at first but not now.What to do?

Sounds much more like your back muscles didn't like the position you were sitting in the chairs and have gone into spasm. Pretty sure mine would if I sat in one of those chairs for long!

Have you tried heat?

Yes I've used ice and heat.Just wasn't sure why both arms hurt as well.I didn't up my Prednisone of 7.5 in hopes it passes.Thank you for your response.

Back muscles also affect the shoulder muscles - but keep an eye on the arm pain, it COULD be a flare but one day is a bit fast to make the decision.

For what it's worth, different chairs or beds can really mess me up sometimes.
